Review: IMAN Perfect Response Oil Blotting Pressed Powder

On my splurge this weekend, of course you know I bought a few new items.  I couldn’t resist! I had my eye on this IMAN  Perfect Response Oil Blotting Pressed Powder in Medium, for a long while. I watched a few reviews on it so I decided to give it a try. It was about $12.99 from Walmart. Most Walmart locations may not carry the IMAN brand so you may have to travel to a few. I was blessed enough to pick up the last one in my color. I was happy that it wasn’t opened and swatched by someone else prior to me getting there.

Have you ever seen a product that you were looking to purchase and as soon as you see what you want… it’s been tamered with… ughhh! Anywho….

I have combination/oily skin durring the warmer months, I tend to get oilier around my T-zone. I heard this products does wonders at keeping the oil at bay *side eye* ok IMAN, lets see.

I wanted to give an honest review of the product so I wore it all day on Sunday and I must say that this does indeed do what it claims to. *High Five IMAN*

My face stayed relatively matte all day which made me very very happy. No grease monkey here! LOL! The coverage in my opinion is medium and it’s buildable. It also blends well with other products such as concealers, blushes and other highlighters that I use.

The packaging isn’t all that, it’s bulky and similar to the packaging the Milani uses for their baked bronzers. The powder puff that it comes with is really cheap and serves no purpose for me. I prefer using my kabuli brush to blend this prodect onto my face.  I’m going to keep trying it and hopefully it makes my list of go to HG powders.
