Could it be a cold coming on? Uggh.
I googled restaurants in hopes of finding a Caribbean spot where I could indulge on some soup and kill the onset of what might be… the spring flu of some sort. Unfortunately, I live in a
city. I mean “college town” that lacks such places. Diversity issues, maybe? ! *Shrugs* Double ugghh! I did however, come across this hidden gem of a restaurant called, Soup Swift. This cafe is located where Miccosukee and Riggins Road intersects in Tallahassee, Florida. They sell handmade Soups, Salads and Sandwiches. They also have various desserts and pastry delicacies for those of you in the city with a sweet tooth. You can look for a new menu daily at 11am on their website www.soupswift.com . The cafe gives off this nice dainty vibe. It’s very clean and peaceful inside. It has a generous outside seating area under umbrella tables nesting under a large tree that shades the entire sitting area. Plenty of shade if you stay and eat!
I ordered the Herb Roasted Turkey & Avocado with Wasabi mayo, Romaine lettuce and Lemon Chicken Soup with Peas, Fresh Lemon and Cilantro.
Check ’em out… I know this won’t be my last time.
