To comabat this summer heat and take control of my skin… I recently switched up my skin care regimen to assist with the build-up of oils that accumulate on my Combination/Oily Skin. Here’s my Summer Skin Care line-up:
Cleanser: Cetafil Daily Facial Cleanser
For normal to oily skin is effective for normal, combination or oily skin. Its non-irritating formula is designed to remove surface oils, dirt and makeup without leaving skin feeling tight or overly dry. This foaming skin cleanser leaves skin with a fresh feeling, doesn’t leave behind irritating residue and is non-comedogenic.
IMO: I really like this cleanser. The formula is clear. The bottle will last you quite a while. It doesn’t have a smell, which I love. I doesn’t leave my face extremely dry and itchy. I apply this to my face while it is damp and I use 2 round facial sponges and warm water. Dont expect to get a rich lather from this product. BTW, no lather doesn’t mean it won’t cleanse well. It works well for me.
Exfoliate: Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Daily Scrub

This breakthrough formula features MicroClear®, a powerful technology clinically shown to boost delivery of acne medicine to clear congested pores and speed treatment deep to the source. MicroClear® and gentle microbeads work together to cut through oil, dissolving dirt and impurities without overdrying or irritation. Skin is left clear and smooth.
IMO: This is a great exfoliant for me. It deep cleanses and makes my skin feel extra clean. I use this in conjunction with my facial brush and a touch of warm water. You can use a facial brush or exfoliating pads with this product and get the same results. I don’t get as many black heads when I exfoliate often. I have also seen a drastic change is the appearance of my skin. Its a lot clearer than previous months and my skin tone has evened out as well.
Toner: T.N. Dickinson’s Witch Hazel

IMO: This is a great toner, its been around for years. A little goes a long way. I apply this to my face using a cotton ball/ cotton round. Its a great skin refresher. Its non-drying and it doesn’t leave my face tight. It also has multiple uses.
Moisturize: Clean and Clear Oil-Free Shine Control Morning Burst Moisturizer
This is a light, gentle moisturizer with an invigorating fragrance that’s sure to enliven your senses. It hydrates and refreshes tired, dull skin while providing long-lasting shine control. Light formula hydrates and refreshes tired, dull skin while providing long lasting shine control. Contains invigorating fragrance to enliven your senses as it moisturizes your skin.
IMO: Moisture is very important after cleansing and exfoliating the skin, thats why this section is highlighted. Its imperative that you put moisture back into your skin so that it won’t become dehydrated or dry. Topical moisture such as moisturizers and internal moisture by drinking the recommended glasses of water daily. This is my favority moisturizer.
