B i r c h b o x | January 2012: Clarity

It’s that time again! I received my first Birchbox of the new year. Excited? I surely am. This month’s box includes products that is said to, “start the new year off with a fresh face and optimistic mood.” This month’s box is entitled CLARITY. I love it how the Birchbox team comes up with these themed boxes with a purpose. My January Birchbox came equipped with:

BORGHESE | CuraForte Moisture Intensifier
This serum proves that sidekicks deserve recognition too. Full-size $67.50

Juicy Couture | Viva La Juicy
This scent will bring out your inner girly girl. Wild berries flirt with mandarin and soft floral notes to create a fragrance that’s fun and happy. Full-size $69-$89

Jouer | Body Butter
Ingredient snobs, take note. This rich formula softens rough patches like elbows, with pure shea butter, plus olive and avocado oils. Full-size $32

stila | Smudge Stick Waterproof Eye Liner
It’s time to put down the black liner. This colorful pigment makes your eyes stand out and it stays put for hours. Full-size $20

L I F E S T Y L E   E X T R A

LARABAR | Mini Bar
Free from fillers and nothing but dried fruit, nuts and other wholesome ingredients. They are tasty and healthy.

Included in this box was a  Birchbox magnet & blue card with MINI DETOX ideas to help jump start 2012… and these things are actually do-able!

Detox your mind by turning off your computer or phone 1 hour before you go to bed. You will sleep soundly and wake up stress-free.

Detox relationships by sending someone you care about a nice ‘just because’ card or note letting them know how much you appreciate them

Detox your closet by giving away items that you don’t wear to a charity.

Detox your diet and cut out processed foods for a few days. Focus on fruits, veggies, whole grains and plenty of dark chocolate.

Detox your bathroom cabinet by checking expiration dates and throw out and products past their prime.

I am always a happy camper when I get my Birchbox in the mail. They included a full-sized Stila liner and some samples to try… and consider that LaraBar….GONE! I’m wondering what the next box has to offer… Love… maybe!??
