Review | Nature’s Bounty Hair Skin & Nails Vitamins

I’ve been taking these Nature’s Bounty Hair Skin and Nails vitamins for a little over six months now and I am totally digging the results I’ve been getting from these supplements. My goal for taking these was to improve my hair, skin and nails along with increasing my water intake. My skin began to clear up in about a week after taking them. That’s right, I saw results in a week. That must mean my body responded well to them. I wasn’t breaking out or having those monthly menstrual acne outbreaks on my face. Hoorah! Over time with consistent use I began noticing my hair becoming a lot stronger, it wasn’t shedding as much, it had a nice natural sheen to it and the strands looked thicker.
In addition, my nails began to grow out really fast. For the last few years I’ve been wearing acrylic nails with a gel overlay while I was taking them and I couldn’t figure out why I kept having to get a refill on my nails so frequently. Duh, the VITAMINS! I would typically get my nails filled in every 2-3 weeks, but I seemed like I needed a fill every week and a 1/2. That bill was adding up because I like to keep my nails nice so just I decided to just take the acrylic nails off and wear my natural nails since they were growing at rapid speed. My nails were paper thin after taking the acrylic nails off but they have since healed and hardened. My toenails are growing super fast also, which I keep nicely pedicured and polished. “Oh She Fancy!”

I also suffered from really bad acne on my back (bacne). While taking these hair skin & nails vitamins, I have not been dealing with new acne outbreaks on my back. Hoorah! This stuff is amazing. The packaging suggests you take 1-2 vitamins a day, but I have been taking 3 a day, one in the morning, another at lunch time and one before bed. Usually when taking a new supplement it can take a while for your system to adjust, I didn’t have an issue with these. I wasn’t queasy-feeling or have any digestion issues and the pills aren’t the size of horse pills. They are pretty easy to swallow.
Everyone is on the whole HairFinity craze right now, I’ve heard positive and negatives from people who take Hairfinity. Honestly, Hairfinity does contain much more Biotin than Nature’s Bounty Hair, Skin & Nails but I’m seeing great results and I’ve doubled my intake so I think I’ll just stick to these and save my bucks on a makeup purchase.
You can catch these at CVS, on a BOGO deal. I ended up buying the Nature’s Bounty Protein Shake in Vanilla along with these vitamins. They come in chewable gummy form for you who dislike swallowing pills of any size. If you shop around you can get them for a little under $10. They are about $10 at CVS/Walgreens. I’m definitely going to continue using them.
So, if you are looking for a vitamin to help improve your skin, hair and nails. Give these a try. Be consistent with your usage of them and tell me how it went in a comment below.
