REVIEW: Black Radiance Perfect Tone Lipsticks

It’s FALL ya’ll. It’s that time of the year where you put your bright colors to rest and snuggle up to the nice warm earthy tones. I’ve started that with a lil’ personal lippie shopping by adding these two new fall-friendly colors to my makeup bag. They are none other than Black Radiance’s Perfect Tone lip Colors in L: Panther and R: Copper Glow.

First off, let me say how much I really like Black Radiance cosmetics and no not because it resembles my moniker. I really like that their cosmetics are definitely for women of color and the price point is super affordable. these lipstick range anywhere from $1.99 to $2.50 depending on where you find them. In my case, I found them at my local CVS. Keep in mind that every CVS or other drugstore chain doesn’t always carry the Black Radiance brand so you kinda have to look around. I actually own quite a few of their lippies and have incorporated them in my kit because I love how they look on myself and my clients.

Okay, lets talk about these two since they are the star in the show! IMG_0045IMG_0048

Panther is a creamy garnet (burgundy) color and Copper Glow is a creamy brown color.

They go on smooth and opaque, they do transfer so you might want to be careful when hugging or kissing folks on the cheeks, you will leave you signature lips on them! They are moisturizing simply because they contain vitamins A & E. They are gluten free and Black Radiance do not test their products on animals so that’s always a PLUS! You can use them with or without a lip liner. I always prefer to use a lip liner on my lips to prevent my lipsticks from bleeding past my lip lines. I like for everything to stay right where I put it!

Here are some snaps of me rocking the lip colors you see above. Yep, I mixed the two together, I call it my “Fall Copper Panther Glow”  I’m ready for this Fall season! I hope ya like!  Thanks for reading! Ciao!
